CHILDREN & YOUTH

The Dunwoody Community Church Children’s Ministry exists to partner with parents in raising children to be disciples who make disciples. Watch the video below to hear more!

Beth Abbott - Children's Ministry Director

We want to help children encounter God in an authentic way, engage with Him on an age-appropriate level, and embrace Him more deeply with each passing year. To accomplish these goals, every Sunday our kids pray, our kids read Scripture, and our kids worship.

Most important to us is that our kids become disciples who make disciples. We hope you'll join us!

Core Competencies

FIRST TIME GUESTS

DCC Children’s Ministry begins check-in at 10:20 AM on Sunday morning. When you arrive, our greeters will help you find the Kids’ Lobby, where you will check in with one of our volunteers. You’ll receive a tag, your child will receive a corresponding nametag, and you’ll be free to walk your child to their class.

We have four classes: Nursery (6 weeks through 2 years), Preschool/Pre-K (3-4s), K-2nd grade, and 3rd-5th grade.

At the end of the service, head back to the Kids’ Lobby, show your tag to the door monitor, and head back to retrieve your little one. Make sure you grab a parent take-home from your child’s classroom door!

STUDENT MINISTRY

At DCC Student Ministry, our goal is for every student to hear the truth of Jesus Christ & encounter God in an authentic, personal way. Youth group offers opportunities to be with Jesus, be like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. Join us Sunday afternoons at 12:15 (after our worship service) for our weekly student gathering. Together we study Scripture, pray, and build our community as the body of Christ. We hope to see you there!
