Children's Ministry
Welcome to “The B.I.G. Forest”, Dunwoody Community Church’s Children’s Ministry! “The B.I.G. (Believers In God) Forest” reflects our goal for the spiritual growth of children – from planting seeds of God’s love when they are very small “Acorns” (birth to 24 months) to providing an environment for them to grow into “Giant Redwoods” (4th and 5th grades), whose faith is becoming strong and unwavering.
Our Mission, which reflects the mission of the entire church, is…To nurture, teach, and encourage children through scripture, our example, and relationships to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Sunday Schedule
Bible Classes (9:30 - 10:15 a.m.)
Worship Service (10:30 - 11:45 am)
Birth - 3 yr old Age appropriate Bible lessons and play. These children check-in directly to their classroom and do not attend worship service. 4 - 5 yr old Children participate in worship service and are dismissed for engaging Bible lessons and snack. Kingergarten Children participate in worship service and are dismissed for engaging Bible lessons and snack. 1st grade - 5th grade Children participate in worship service and are dismissed into a large group environment for engaging Bible teaching and small group application.
